Aurora Aksnes was born the 15th of June, 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. Popularly referred to as Aurora and often stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released through Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from musicians and music blogs as well as the press. The singer has released a number of high-profile covers, such as Half the World Away (by Oasis) for the Christmas advert. She started playing piano when she was just six and started writing songs before she reached nine. They didn't let her parents know about her musical journey until she was 14.
